Sources & Citations
Qurani is built entirely on established, widely trusted Islamic scholarship. This page lists every source behind the app — the Quranic text, translations, Tafsir, Hadith, recitation, prayer-time methods and fonts — so you can read with confidence and verify any reference yourself.
How we handle sources
We add no interpretation of our own. Every verse, translation, narration and supplication is presented exactly as published by its source, with references and authenticity grades kept intact so you can verify it. Only authentic and well-attested material is included. If you ever notice an error in a source or attribution, please contact us and we will correct it.
The Quranic text
The Arabic text follows the KFGQPC Hafs Uthmanic script published by the King Fahd Glorious Quran Printing Complex in Madinah — the same text as the printed Madinah mushaf. It is presented exactly as published, without any alteration.

Prayer times & Qibla
Prayer times and the Qibla direction are computed on your device using the open-source adhan library by Batoul Apps. It supports all major calculation methods — including the Muslim World League, Umm al-Qura (Makkah), the Egyptian General Authority of Survey, the University of Islamic Sciences (Karachi), ISNA (North America), the Gulf authorities, Diyanet (Turkey), Tehran and the Moonsighting Committee — with Hanafi and Shafi'i options for the Asr time.
Du'a, Adhkar & the 99 Names
Daily supplications and remembrances are compiled from the Quran and authentic Prophetic tradition, including Hisn al-Muslim (Fortress of the Muslim). The 99 Names of Allah (Asma ul-Husna) follow the classical list with their meanings.
