Frequently asked
- Prayer times look wrong
- Open Settings → Prayer Times and double-check (1) your location permission is granted, (2) the calculation method matches what your local mosque uses, and (3) the high-latitude rule is appropriate for your region. Different methods can disagree by several minutes; this is expected.
- The adhan didn't play
- Make sure the app has Notifications permission, your device is not in Silent / Focus mode, and the prayer reminder is enabled for that specific prayer. Qurani uses local notifications only, so the device must be powered on at the scheduled time.
- A hadith collection won't download
- Large collections stream directly to disk. Confirm you have an active network connection and at least 100 MB of free storage, then retry from Hadith → Library.
- Audio recitation stutters
- Each ayah is streamed individually from a public CDN. On a slow connection, switch to a different reciter (some have smaller files), or download the full surah in advance from the audio library.
- My language isn't perfect
- We support 25 languages. Translations are reviewed continuously; if you spot a wording issue, please email us with a screenshot and we'll fix it in the next release.
