لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
There is no god but You, glory be to You, truly I have been among the wrongdoers.

حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ
Allah is sufficient for us and He is the best Disposer of affairs.

إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ، اللَّهُمَّ أْجُرْنِي فِي مُصِيبَتِي…
To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return. O Allah, reward me in my affliction and replace it for me with something better.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ، وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَل…
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, from weakness and laziness, from miserliness and cowardice, from the burden of debts and…

اللَّهُمَّ لَا سَهْلَ إِلَّا مَا جَعَلْتَهُ سَهْلًا، وَأَنْتَ تَجْعَلُ الْحَزْنَ…
O Allah, nothing is easy except what You make easy. If You will, You can make sorrow easy.

يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيثُ
O Ever-Living, O Self-Sustaining, by Your mercy I seek help.

اللَّهُمَّ رَحْمَتَكَ أَرْجُو فَلَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ وَأَ…
O Allah, it is Your mercy I hope for. Do not leave me to myself for the blink of an eye. Set all my affairs right. There is no god but You.

اللَّهُ اللَّهُ رَبِّي لَا أُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئًا
Allah, Allah is my Lord. I do not associate anything with Him.
9
أَنَّا مَسَّنِيَ الضُّرُّ وَأَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
Indeed, adversity has touched me, and You are the Most Merciful of the merciful.
10
قَدَّرَ اللَّهُ وَمَا شَاءَ فَعَلَ
Allah has decreed and what He willed He has done. (To say when afflicted)
11
فَفِرُّوا إِلَى اللَّهِ إِنِّي لَكُمْ مِنْهُ نَذِيرٌ مُبِينٌ
So flee to Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. (Flee to Allah in times of difficulty)

يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيثُ
O Ever-Living, O Self-Sustaining, by Your mercy I seek help.
13
حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ نِعْمَ الْمَوْلَى وَنِعْمَ النَّصِيرُ
Allah is sufficient for us and He is the Best Disposer of affairs. An excellent Protector, an excellent Helper.

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
There is no god but You, glory be to You. Indeed, I have been among the wrongdoers. (Du'a of Yunus)

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ لِي فَرَجًا وَمَخْرَجًا
O Allah, grant me relief and a way out.

وَمَنْ يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهُ
And whoever relies upon Allah, He is sufficient for him. (Reminder verse)

اللَّهُمَّ لَا تَكِلْنَا إِلَى أَنْفُسِنَا فَنَعْجِزَ وَلَا إِلَى النَّاسِ فَنَض…
O Allah, do not leave us to ourselves lest we become incapable, nor to others lest we be lost.

اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْ ضَعْفِي وَقِلَّةَ حِيلَتِي وَهَوَانِي عَلَى النَّاسِ
O Allah, have mercy on my weakness, my lack of resources, and my insignificance among people. (Du'a of the Prophet at Ta'if)
