أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ رَضِيتُ بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ رَسُولًا وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا
लिप्यंतरण: Ash-hadu an laa ilaaha illallaah wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadar-rasoolullaah, radheetu billaahi rabban wa bi-Muhammadin rasoolan wa bil-islaami deenaa
अनुवाद: I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. I am pleased with Allah as Lord, Muhammad as messenger, and Islam as religion. (Upon hearing the shahadah in adhan — sins are forgiven)
